Lori's Tips for Popping the Question
The spring and summer seasons are an extremely popular time for engagements. Lori Selvaggi, Director of Catering, has worked with hundreds of future grooms to help make their proposal a special one. She has 5 tips to help men pop the question:
1. Find The Right Engagement Ring.
Window shop for rings when you are walking past a store, bring it up in conversation, ask her mother or best friend to help you choose. Do know if she wants to be involved in choosing the ring especially if she is particular about her jewelry.
2. Do talk to her Parents!
3.The location of the proposal should be meaningful.
First, consider if she is a public or private person, then decide if you want to propose during an event or for example in your favorite restaurant… or when it’s just the two of you.
4. Find a creative way to propose.
Incorporate your personality, her favorite things, favorite foods etc. into the proposal.
5. Drop to One Knee and tell her why you want to marry her. |
